I have been playing both over the past few days and and I cannot decide which I enjoy more.
I like Double Impact's rougher style, and it has far and away better background. I also think it also looks a little more neater, less pixelated than the sequel and the characters have a better balance. It is also cool that each character has a specific boss like in Zero 1 & 2. The game also seems more balanced than 3S with a tighter roster.
Third Strike has got more characters, and a cool soundtrack and some aspects seems more polished like the blocking system but for some reason it doesn't resonate like the earlier games. What is the general view of the SF pros?
