In this mission, Sea Worms fall out of the sky about a half dozen at a time. This conitinues until about fifty have been destroyed. They are easy to kill, but they can hit you with Stop. You may want to equip Sprint Shoes. Once you have obtained Quake Materia from Wutai's secret shop, you can kill up to six enemies at a time in this mission. Doing so greatly increases your SP multiplier. They also drop a lot of MAG Mako Stones for Materia fusion. The DMW seems to react quite a bit to this mission; expect lots of Modulated Phases. This mission never expires. Kill the worms as much as desired.

# Gongaga mini-game
While in the Hills of Gongaga, after you start the scene with Genesis and Hollander, fight up to seven battles in the hills, then try to leave the area. Zack will notice a chest falling down the waterfall. Select the "I bet there will be more" option, and play the treasure chest mini-game. Monsters will come down as well as chests. The boxes and monsters will come down four times, repeating the same pattern:
Wave 1 (chest): Middle
Wave 2 (monsters): Left and right
Wave 3 (chest): Far left
Wave 4 (chest): Far right
These waves will repeat four times after the fourth wave. The more boxes you get, the better the prize. If you touch the monsters, Zack will become temporarily paralyzed. The best way to dodge them is to get out of the river, then go back in once they are gone.
# Joining Angeal's Fan Club
In Chapter 8, when you need to make Aerith the flower wagon, talk to the boy in the fountain area of Midgar. He will say that his mother is missing and never came back. Go to the Sector 1 Train Platform, and the mother will be standing by the wall when you walk in. Ask her why she is abandoning her son, and answer "A mother without honor is nothing but a monster." Then, go back to the boy in the fountain area, and you will be in the Angeal Club.
# Joining Genesis' Fan Club
In Chapter 8, when you need to make Aerith the flower wagon, go to Loveless Ave. Talk to the Genesis fan in the back alley. Then, talk to the Genesis fan in the fountain section, and suggest that the two clubs join up. Go back to the lady on Loveless Ave., and she will give you a membership to the club.
# Seven Wonders of Nibelhiem
When you first come into Nibelhiem, talk to the boy on the east side of the town. He will tell you that there are Seven Wonders you can help him solve. Note: Do not go to the Mako Reactor with Sephiroth until the first two are completed.
First Wonder: Inspect the water tower to solve the Wonder of the town's red water supply. You will get the Phoenix Summon here.
Second Wonder: Inspect the painting of the girl in the guest room in the inn. Go back to the boy, then back to the painting. Walk downstairs to see if the innkeeper walks upstairs. If not, inspect the painting again. Slowly follow him without passing him or starting the scene with Sephiroth.
Third Wonder: When escorting Cloud and Tifa back to town, talk to each child in the intersection with the Mako Fountain. Take the path behind the children all the way to the end to encounter the "Wonder" bombs. Destroy all three of them before they explode by hitting them as they expand to make them shrink again. Once you defeat them, go back to the village and exchange the Gold Shard you received for defeating them for a Safety Bit.
Fourth Wonder: This Wonder is in the Shinra Manor about a laughing safe. Go to the northwest room on the second floor to find a piece of paper and the safe, which contains clues on how to open the safe.
o First digit: Knowledge overflowing. Count the number of books not on the bookshelf in the room on the east side by looking through the keyhole. Count the books on the floor and on top of the book shelf.
o Second digit: Unwelcome faces. Count the number of Dorky Faces in the east room on the first floor. They disappear and reappear but in the same places.
o Third digit: Tasty reminders of home. Count the number of Dumbapple and/or cans in the room on the second floor in the back of the west wing. Also look for them behind or under furniture.
o Fourth digit: Resting on all four feet. Count the number of chairs in the west room of the first floor.
Go back to the room, and put in the deciphered code, and find a Cactuar in the safe and the Vital Slash Materia. Return to the boy in town to find out about the Fifth Wonder.
Fifth Wonder: The boy speaks of bloodcurdling moans in the caverns of the Shinra Manor. Go to the caverns, and defeat four Sahagins. Go into the rooms on the side of the cavern, and unlock each coffin until you find a man in the coffin, who is none other than Vincent.
Sixth Wonder: Note: You must do the preceding five Wonders first. While in Nibelhiem when Sephiroth has set the town on fire, there is a boy standing near the store. He says that his mother is trapped inside and you have 1:00 to get her out. Unfortunately there is too much smoke to see, so you must blindly guide Zack through the building. First, guide him to the far right of the store, then toward the rear, then left, next to the front, and finally to the right. Press X when prompted, and lead Zack back through the same route and out the front door. The boy will give you an ATK Up++.
Seventh Wonder: Note: You must do all preceding Wonders first. The boy will send you a message in the Outskirts of Nibelhiem in the following chapter about the state of the village and the lack of a Seventh Wonder. He has left a treasure as a thank you for rescuing his mother somewhere in the village, if Zack can find it. Go past the save point toward the farmhouse in the Nibelhiem Outskirts, and look on the ground near the fence for a glowing red object. It is the Wall materia, which is the Seventh Wonder.

Go to the options menu and set "Illegal Blows" to "Off". Then, go to the fight store and buy the illegal head punch called "Elbow Shot". During a fight, use the Elbow Shot to counter attack each time your opponent throws a punch. Note: Make sure you use the Elbow Shot as a counter attack so that you can connect cleanly and powerfully on you opponent's head. You will see that the Elbow Shot inflicts a lot of damage to your opponent, and will KO him in a short period of time, or TKO because you inflicted so much damage to his eyes.

Dense Fog: To open the first chest, talk to the man under the seal. Then, go the higher section to find a switch. Next, open the chest and return the tablets to the man to learn how to complete "Dragoons".
Desert: Go directly to the left to fall in a pit and learn the keyword "Oasis".
Destruction: Talk to the general, then to the mage in the bottom. Then, find the three ingredients, and talk again to the mage in the south. Talk two more times to the general to learn the keyword "Guardian".
Dragoons: Defeat Maya, Orga, and Vishuss in that order. Then, a little boy will appear in the center of the stage and reveal hints on how to complete "Wyverns".
Dreadnought: Talk to the soldier directly beside you, then go in the middle and drop a blizzard tome in the engine. Talk to the soldier again to learn the keyword "Aquifer".
Ekmet Teloess: Go directly up when you start. If you talk to the boy on the left and say "Yes", you will battle a Behemoth and learn nothing. If you talk to the old man in the middle and give him what he wants, you will battle a King Behemoth and still learn nothing. However, if you talk to the soldier to the right and say "Ekmet Teloess", you will battle a Dark Behemoth. You can now learn the keyword "Woodlands" from the soldier who sent you to the Dark Behemoth.
Fire: Talk to the woman in the middle, then find her cat on the right. Return the cat to learn the keyword "Cauldron".
Giants: Defeat all giants, then talk to the Giant Boss to learn the keyword "Utopia".
Goddess's Bell: Go where the bell rings faster, then search. A little shining dot will appear. Talk to the shining dot to learn the keyword "Dense Fog".
Greed: Give the Gold Needle, Golden Shield, Golden Armor, and Gold Cuirass items to learn the keyword "Authority".
Guardian: To complete it, talk to the guard, then to the man on your right. Next, go to the back alley on the left. Go down and to the right afterwards, and talk to the first man in white you see. Go right again, and talk to the guard again. Continue to the back road on the right, then go down and left. Talk to the guard again. Then you will see a scene with Daimon. Return to the right alley and go down again, then again to the left to talk to the guard a final time. Then, go up two streets, and left in the left alley. Then go down to the house of Daimon. Note: If you go directly to the home after the scene, the guard will already be there. After the scene in the house, go directly up to find the Light Of Hope.
Hope: Go to the upper left room to learn the keyword "Destruction".
Iron Bars: Find all three secret switches hidden in the wall. Then, talk to the prisoner to learn the keyword "Chronicles".
Jade Passage: Search the bottom left waterfall to learn the keyword "Oblivion" in the chest.
Mask: Find a way to bring the Doppelganger over to the red dot, then talk to him to learn the keyword "Tundra".
Mercy: There is no monster in this stage. Talk to the Goddess Statue in the middle to get full heal (HP, MP, and Status).
Miasma: Talk to the first man you see. Then, defeat the three man-monsters, and talk again with the first man to learn how to complete "Jade Passage".
Mirror: Go to the end of the left section to learn how to complete "Darkness".

Mytrhil: Talk to the old man on the right of the seal, then find the good well to get Mythril. Then, return to the old man to learn the keyword "Mirror".
Oasis: When you start, go directly up to find a flame. Talk to her and say Y, Y, Y, N, N, Y to guide her to the pillar. Talk to her again to learn how to complete "Ekmet Toloess".
Oblivion: Talk to a woman who searches for a child. Find the child to learn keyword "Hope".
Palamecia: Fall in different pitfall to eventually find a man. Talk to him to learn the keyword "Iron Bars".

Utopia: In the middle room are twenty chests. Open them and you will eventually find a chest that will tell you how to complete "Palamecia".
Wild Rose: Help all Rebel Soldiers, then talk to the only rebel who did not battle (near the center) to learn keyword "Tracking".
Wind: Complete it.
Wizard: In the upper right corner are four spheres. Talk to them, then find all four mages and kill them. Then, return to the sphere to find a girl and learn the keyword "Candelabra".
Woodlands: Talk to the first man you see, then go in the middle section of the map, and kill a minimum of four Roundworms. Talk to the man again to learn the keyword "Fire".
Wyverns: Find the Wyvern in the big center room, and use the item (not keyword) "Goddess's Bell". Then, use the "Pendant" item. Give him any recovery item (Potion, Hi-Potion, or Elixir) to learn the keyword "Darkness".
Fired Up
Defeating the large tank
While fighting the big tank at the end, go up any of the ramps to the higher levels. Hide behind one of the four shield generators, then an intermission sequence wil show the tank firing homing rockets at you. Do not move yet. The tank will now fire lasers at you, which can sometimes come through the walls. Reverse so that you are not hit and destroy the shield generator. Move to the next one after the lasers have finished and repeat the process. If you get badly damaged, go to the garage and change vehicles. However, this can be done with the one vehicle. When all the shields are down, the tank can now be destroyed. Do not get too close or it will fire grenades at you. Use the plasma. Run as soon as the tank says "Preparing homing rockets", then attack it again.

# Avenging Angels missions
Successfully complete Leon McAffrey's "Crazy 69" mission to unlock the "Avenging Angels" side missions. Go to the same park where the mission took place dressed in the Avenging Angels fatigues at night. Look for another Avenging Angel (they are dressed the same). Press Up near him to start the vigilante-style killing spree. In these missions you will fight various groups of hoodlums around Staunton Island. The best strategy is to run them down in a car, or use a bladed melee weapon to cut them down. Using Molotov ****tails, grenades, and other weapons capable of taking out multiple opponents at once. If your Avenging Angel friend dies, you must find another one within the time limit or the mission ends.
# Infinite shotgun ammunition
Stand outside the Ammu-Nation store and target the man behind the counter. Kill him, then take his shotgun and drive away a few blocks. Return to the store, and he will have respawned with another shotgun, which you can once again take from him.

Make sure it is not a nice car, as you cannot take it with you. You are now on Stanton Island. This also works for Liberty City.
# Exceed garage limit
Get a motorcycle and park it against the garage door. Jump off, and after the garage door opens, quickly press Triangle to get back on and press X to drive it in before the door closes again. With a car, keep pushing it towards the garage door until it opens, then keep pushing it until it is inside.
Park a vehicle already in your garage halfway out to keep the door up. Then, drive in as many other vehicles as you can fit. Make sure you can reach the doors on them or you may not be able to get them out.
# Easy fist fights
When targeting an enemy during a fist fight (or using brass knuckles), run towards them and tap Circle repeatedly. Even though you will just be running into them and may remain stationary, you will keep executing the "running" punch attack. If you keep tapping Circle, Toni will keep doing this attack rapidly and your enemy will not have a chance to strike back.
# Barracks OL (army truck)
Find the junkyard and go into it. Next to a wall will be a Barrack OL (army truck).
# FBI car
Get a five star wanted level and FBI cars will appear. As soon as you see one, enable the "Wanted level disabled" code and quickly get in an FBI before it leaves. When you are driving the FBI car, turn on the siren and all of the other cars will move out of the way. It also has good speed and handling.
# Hellanbach GT
If your are looking for a Hellanbach GT for LoveMedia crazy car give-away, there are two ways to get one. The first is to complete level 4 in the car salesman missions. It will appear in the showroom. The second place it can be found is at Shoreside Vale. Go to the first house on the bottom row of houses in the Cedar Grove area. Look in the driveway to the garage. If one is not there, drive left or right, then turn back. There should be one sitting in front of the garage.
You can also get the Hellenbach GT during the mission where you must kill the Sindacco gang member. JP will call and tell you to take his car as a down payment on the money that he owes you. That car is a Hellenbach GT. Save the car in your garage until you need it for the Love Fist car giveaway.
# Thunder-Rod
When you do the third or fourth mission for Ma Cipriani called "Grease Sucho", you must win a race. Once you win, you must kill Sucho. He will be in a car with flames down the side, called a Thunder-Rod. You must ram the car to get him out so that you can kill him. However, do not let the car explode. If you do, it will be very hard to complete the game later. In the "Love Media" mission, you must deliver sixteen different cars. and the Thunder-Rod is one of them. This is a very good weapon for your melee slot, as it will usually kill enemies with one hit. Use it for the "Avenging Angels" missions when fighting gangs to conserve ammunition for later levels. You can cut down many swarming opponents at once if you keep moving around and tapping Circle.
# M60 in Shoreside Vale
There is an M60 at the airport parking lot. There should be a small opening to your left. When you go through it, there is a ramp going on top of the fire station. To your left when you are up there is a ledge going around the airport. There is a secret package and magnum. Keep going around the airport until reaching a dead end. There is a small gap between the edge and an airplane hanger. Drive of the edge onto the airplane hanger to find an M60 with 100 ammunition.
# Change size of the moon
Use a sniper rifle to look at the moon. Shoot the moon with the sniper rifle to make it increase in size. Repeat this to make it grow larger until it returns to its original size.
# Free shotgun and ammunition
Find a cop car to get a free shotgun or bullets for it.
# Free items
In the beginning of the game, you can buy anything desired. During one of the first missions you must go to Ammu-Nation. Choose the pistol and you will not be charged. You can also go to the Pay 'N Spray for free the first few times.
# Better weapon aiming
While holding R, press Down. Holding L also allows for more controlled aiming (slows the movement of the sights). This works for the pistol, shotgun, assault rifle, and minigun. Use this way of aiming to take out gang members in their cars, pop tires, or shoot down helicopters.
# Kill anyone without getting stars
Get a car (recommended) or bike, then drive fast enough so that you can jump out of it and kill someone at the same time. Drive directly toward the target and jump out. This will not work if you jump out too late. You can also hit police cars by doing this and not get into trouble. You can hit gang members and they will not chase you. However, if you do this to someone the police are chasing, the officer in pursuit will aimlessly run.
# Assassins
After you complete the "No Son Of Mine" mission, Ma will put a "hit" on you. When an assassin tries to attack, kill him, as he will not be hard to kill. He should be carrying money, body armor, and a nice gun.
# Motorcycle passenger
Use a vehicle to ram a motorcycle with two people sitting on it. Make sure you hit them hard enough so that they both fly off the bike. Then, get on the bike and shoot the driver, but not the back passenger. If done correctly, the remaining passenger will hop back on the bike and sit behind you as you drive around. Note: You will not be able to bail from the bike while moving, as the back passenger will block you from being able to jump off. To get rid of the passenger, just get off the bike and shoot him or her.
# Snow
To change the weather to snow, find the auto shop in Portland. Begin the car dealership missions where you must sell cars to people by doing what they want. If you get to level 9, it will start snowing to make it more difficult to drive in.
# Chrome plated bat
Enable the "Chrome traffic" code, then pick up a bat at your Portland safe house.
# Easier mission completion
Once you get to the point where you can do missions for Ma Cipriani ("C" on the map), do not continue doing them until they are your only option. # Car stuck on bridge
While driving on the bridge that connects Staunton Island and Shoreside Vale, you can get someone's car stuck in the bridge. To do this, wait until the bridge is up, then bump a car about half-way on the bridge with it halfway hanging over the edge. When the middle section of the bridge comes back down, that car should get stuck and have half of it sticking out of the bridge.
# Bleeding vehicles
Take a normal shotgun and walk directly up to a Rhino. Use manual aim and fire directly into the Rhino. It will spurt blood as if it were a person. This can also be done with other cars and objects, but is best when the Rhino is the target, because it will not explode. This works well at the airport so you do not get a wanted level. Note: The blood only spurts when you fire from certain angles; down and to the right slightly works the best, and you must be directly up against the tank and use manual aim to do it.
# Ride through wall in Staunton Island
In the Rockford area, directly beside the hospital is a construction site. Get a PCJ 600 and ride it to the red bar at the construction site's entrance and break it. Then, back up and go fast as possible. Go up the dirt pile ramp inside the construction site. When you are on the first roof, jump over to the second roof while still on your bike. Then, go to the wall to your right and ride slowly into it. Note: You may need to do this more than once. If done correctly, you should fall into the wall. When you are done falling, you will be in the unfinished tunnels below. The only way to get exit is to die.
# Smiley face sign in Staunton Island
Look for the place where you have to chase the "priest" into the Church missions. It is a garage-type place. Find the white stairs and climb up them. Jump over to the roof to your right, then run straight ahead. Jump off to the right of the wall. Follow this wall until you find the ramp. Once you reach the ramp, do not go up it. Keep following the wall and run to the back. Turn to the left to find the hidden location. In Grand Theft Auto 3, the sign read "You are not suppose to be here". Instead, the sign has a smiley face with the message ""You just can't get enough of this alley, can you?".
# Fly helicopter in Calm Before The Storm mission
During this mission for JD, when the helicopter makes its second stop on the top of the building in the Red Light District, get a bike. Drive it up the stars. Make sure not to kill anyone or the mission will end. Then, press Triangle while standing next to the helicopter to board it and fly around.
# Chinese food after Wong Side Of The Tracks mission
After completing the Wong Side Of The Tracks side mission, go directly to your Portland safehouse. You should see Chinese food on the table inside the safehouse.

When you get the chainsaw, combos become easier. Stand over a Manhole and use your chainsaw to get high combos. Manholes with lots of enemies around them are recommended, as you can get up to a ten combo with one slice.

# Defeating Cobar
Run and the grab the missile launcher from the supply depot at the bottom left of your screen. While hiding behind the concrete block next to the depot, throw grenades at his machine gun. This enables you to lock on to his missile launchers (which causes the most damage). In order to lock on to one weapon at a time, hold L + R while firing or throwing grenades. If you are hiding from the mine thrower, get to the back right corner of the barrier, but directly up next to it. Get out of the way of the explosions or bullets. Time your shots in between his and take out the remaining guns.

# Getting Zero's Buster
Get all upgrades for Megaman, except for the arm upgrade. Keep playing until you fight Vile the second time in Sigma Palace 3. Defeat him but make sure you do not have the arm upgrade. After defeating him, you will automatically get Zero's Buster from him.
# Hadouken attack
Once you have all tanks and life expansions with Megaman, enter the Armored Armadillo level five times until the end. On the fifth time, when you are in the cart that jumps and leads to the Boss door, jump to the ledge. You will find a capsule with Doctor Light and the Hadouken Street Fighter style. Alternately, go through the Armored Armadillo level without getting hit once. At the very end when the cart is flying through the air, dash jump to a ledge when the cart starts to descend slightly. There should be a Doctor Light capsule there, and he will give you the Hadouken attack. Note: In order to use this attack you must have full health. Also, roll forward as if you were using it in Street Fighter 2. This move can kill anything with one blast.
# Easy lives in Armored Armadillo level
At the beginning of the level jump on, then off, the trolley-like object as fast as possible and run down the path. There should be structures coming out of the ceiling when you reach the bottom. The first has a mechanical bat enemy and the second one has bat-like enemy that looks realistic. Make sure you also kill the flamingo enemy. When you kill the realistic bat, almost every time it dies it will drop an extra life. Run back to where the second structure on the ceiling is off screen, then run back and kill it again. Keep repeating this process to get as many lives as desired.
# Defeating Sigma's first form
Use the purple Charge Chameleon Sting, then use the Electric Spark attack (charged or not). To dodge his slash, jump up the wall. When he shoots, jump up the wall and try dodging bullets like that. When Sigma jumps up the wall from you, fall when he is on the other side of the wall. Repeat the Charge Chameleon and the Electric Spark attack until Sigma has been defeated.

Body Capsule: In Storm Eagle's level, beyond blocks that must be broken with the Head Upgrade. It is after the thin tower that you climb.

# Python
Enter "LQ.N2" as a password to unlock Python. Alternately, instead of health depletion, use a tranq gun and stamina to deplete him. You will get a different intermission sequence and Python will join you.
# Raikov

# Teliko
Enter "T.F-ACID" as a password to unlock Teliko. Alternately, have a Metal Gear Ac!d saved game file on your Memory Stick. Successfully complete the game, then save after the credits and load the game. Get to a point where you can save the game. Save it, then exit the game completely. Restart the PSP, load your game, and you will get a message saying you have a new solider, which is Teliko. Alternately, place spies in the town. After awhile, you may get a report saying something about an alien and that there is a strangely dressed woman in the town. If you go to the town and capture (not meet, just knock her out) her, then you will unlock Teliko and some strange dialogue with Campbell.
# Ursula
Enter "PK +ESP" as a password to unlock Ursula.
# Venus
Enter "MGA2VE" as a password to unlock Venus. Alternately, have a Metal Gear Ac!d 2 saved game file on your Memory Stick. Successfully complete the game, then save after the credits and load the game. Get to a point where you can save the game. Save it, then exit the game completely. # Stealth Camouflage
Successfully complete the game with a "Technician" rating of 99 to unlock the Stealth Camouflage, which allows you to become invisible for a limited time.
# Extreme mode
Successfully complete the game to unlock the Extreme difficulty setting.
# Easy reload
Have two weapons equipped. When you are close to running out in your clip, change weapons then immediately change back and your gun will be reloaded.
# Recruiting soldiers
If you are looking for soldiers to recruit, the Soviet Patrol Base is an easy place to capture them all.
To recruit multiple soldiers at once, drag several enemy soldiers over to one of your teammates while they are hiding in a box. Then, call the prisoner evac frequency and your teammate will capture all of them.
# Frequency for doors
During the mission before the Cunningham fight, the frequency for the first frequency door is scratched on the wall behind the guard that is posted in the room.
The frequency code for the doors at the Silo Complex are 145.75 for the first and 148.51 for the second.
# Defeating Cunningham
Use Snake (he has the most health and stamina, and dying with him will not cause loss of your favorite soldier) with the 5.56x45mm Caliber Assault Rifle (M16A1 or XM177E2) and RPG7; Body Armor; and Medical Kit (L). Fire the M16A1 using the L lock-on button. Fire two or three magazines into his flying machine and there will be a minor explosion. He will drift downwards as his flying machine malfunctions. At this point, fire using the L lock-on again, but keep it to short bursts or single shots. Almost every shot will count towards taking down his life. Ammo boxes for the 5.56 rifle will continuously appear as you run low, and there is a spare M16A1 rifle as well. The rest is standard bullet dodging. Note: You can fire at the rockets he shoots later as his health gets low by shooting at them in First Person mode. Firing at the mines he throws will cause them to explode safely at a distance. Also, RPG7 rockets will count as a bullet hit on his health, and two or three consecutive shots will cause the flying machine to drift down faster, but there are no RPG refills during the battle.
# Defeating Null
The times which you can shoot him with a non explosive are when he is reloading, turned his back against you, still looking for you, or sometimes while shooting if you are lucky. The best gun for this is the shotgun. When you actually get a shot into him, it will knock him down.
CQC of any kind does not work on Null. If you try to punch, kick, or tackle him, he will slash you with his sword. He will also block any bullets you shoot at him. The only way to defeat him is to hit him in the back or wait until he reloads his gun. He fires three bursts before having to reload, and will shoot even if he cannot see you. Wait until the third burst, then quickly jump out and shoot or tranquilize him. Alternately, use any type of explosive, as he cannot block them.
# Defeating Python
When fighting Python, lock on to him with L and shoot him when he becomes visible through the fog. Make sure to continuously back up, otherwise he will lunge forward and knock you down with his weapon. It is also a good idea to plant the TNT with a soldier other than Snake. By doing this, when you begin the fight you will start as the character you planted the bomb with. Then if your character dies, you will have the option of selecting the next player to fight with so that you can save Snake to finish the job after Python has been weakened.
The best weapon to use against Python is the shotgun. It will knock him down and you can shoot him again before he gets back up. Additionally, the shotgun deals a lot of damage but does not require you to do any fancy moves.
