Recovering Pegasus Save Data for 3000

I recently just bought a used psp 3000 after the untimely death of my 1000. When playing the more recent games, I was used to just turning on the pegasus2 plugin to use the savedata. I'm running the 6.60 lcfw on the 3000, but when I try and load a game with the pegasus2 plugin running it freezes the psp.

Is there anyway to recover the savedata so it can run on the 3000 without any plugins? There are a lot of Monster Hunter hours on the line haha.
