Samus without her helmet:
Complete the game with a time between two and three hours and at least 60% of the items collected.

In-game reset:
Press Select + Start + A + B during game play to return to the main screen.

Re: Metroid Fusion

Delete saved data:
Turn on the Game Boy Advance while holding L + R. Keep the buttons held until the message "Do you want to erase all saved memory?" appears. Move the missile over to "Yes" and press A.

Re: Metroid Fusion

Hint: Restore health:
Hold Down + B and your life will be restored.
Information in this section was contributed by RyukLight01.

Hint: Wall jump:
To reach platforms easier, spin jump next to a wall, press the D-pad opposite to the direction that you went, then jump. Samus will touch the wall and propel herself off it in a another jump. This can be done repeatedly. Once you have the space jump, this is unnecessary.
Information in this section was contributed by GameMaven5.
Hint: Hyper shoulder nudge:
Go to the place with all the elevators. Go to either the elevator for sector 5 or 6. Back into the wall and speed boost into the other side. When you get to the end and there is almost no space remaining to run, crouch and you will keep glowing. Quickly jump, and just before you land, press the D-pad in the direction you jumped. Samus should stop in the air and slam against the wall in a sort of shoulder nudge.
Information in this section was contributed by Spencer Liberto.
Hint: Fire over ledge while hanging:
You can fire over the ledge that you are hanging on by charging the Beam and releasing it. Note: This may only be done with the Wide Beam.
Information in this section was contributed by UltimateLifeFormShadow.
Hint: Wide range missile block destruction:
Once you have received the Diffusion Missile upgrade, go into a room with missile blocks that are difficult to reach. Launch a Diffusion Missile. When you do this, all the missile blocks in the "diffusion ring" will be destroyed. This is useful if there are several missile blocks in one area.
Information in this section was contributed by aquaranger04.
Hint: Speed boost warp:
Once you have defeated Serris, find a place to run. Keeping going until you get your speed boost, then press Down, A and choose the direction you wish to move. Samus will warp at very high speed, destroying anything in her path until she strikes a solid object that is not made of speed booster blocks.
Information in this section was contributed by GameMaven5.
Hint: Super warp jump:
This is slightly difficult to perform and may require a few attempts. Find a place to run until your Super Run kicks in. This is obtained after you defeat Serris. Then, quickly press Down. Samus will kneel down and glow. Then, jump. Samus will fly upward until she hits a solid object not made of speed blocks.
Information in this section was contributed by derrick noel.
Hint: Hyper Screw attack:
This move is used while performing the Speed Booster. Note: You will also need the Screw Attack. While running in hyper mode, jump forward into a Screw attack and do not stop moving forward. You will notice that you will still be in hyper mode while airborne. If you continue the Screw attack with the Space Jump and never stop moving, you will remain in hyper mode until you run into something solid or stop moving. This technique is very useful for breaking boost blocks with no extra running space around them.
Information in this section was contributed by IIAoshiII.
Hint: Pseudo Screw attack:
To kill a host of an X parasite without being attacked, charge your beam to full power and perform a spinning jump into the enemy. This will destroy most minor enemies in one hit. The stronger ones (for example, Zebesian Space Pirates) will take more hits, but you will sustain damage each time you hit them. This maneuver will also work on certain Bosses. The real Screw attack gained by defeating Ridley X is far more powerful. granting you invincibility and the ability to destroy all enemies (except Bosses) on contact.
Information in this section was contributed by GameMaven5.
Hint: Defeating Arachnus:
Fire a missile when it takes form (its stomach). It will now do one of two things. If it throws a blue slash at you, jump over it and fire another missile. If it spits fire at you, jump up and grab the small ledge. Press the D-pad in the opposite direction and prepare to jump. Jump immediately before he hits the wall. Repeat this until Arachnus is defeated.
Information in this section was contributed by David L. Howells.
When the first set of fire comes down, turn into your Morph Ball and go all the way over to the fire ball on the right. Wait until it starts to go to the middle. Then, keep shooting missiles (when the spider is charging up) until it shoots the three fire balls. You will get hurt, but at least you will hit him. You have to keep going next to the fire balls until he loses his legs. Once this happens, you can go to the right of the stage and shoot missiles up at him. When he turns red, go to the left of the stage and shoot up.
Information in this section was contributed by johnnymao.
To defeat the robo-spider easier, morph to ball form and stay in the corners. When its about to fire, shoot it with a Charge Beam or a few missiles. Then, run to the other corner and repeat until its legs fall off and it starts to spin.
Information in this section was contributed by Richie Saavedra.
When you enter the room, go in the middle. Wait a few and shoot missiles upwards. Then, roll to a safe spot. Move and avoid his attacks. Crouching in corners is a good idea. While you crouch, charge. When he charges flames, shoot him with the charge shot than shoot missiles. In his second form, shoot charged shots when he stops spinning. Missiles should not be used here. In his X form, pump him with missiles.
Information in this section was contributed by 3.141592653589 Pi Guy.
Hint: Defeating Nightmare:
When you get to the room with organism Nightmare, wait for it to fully appear. When it does, it will shoot a group of missiles/lasers at you. It goes up and down inside the room. When it is up, run underneath and shoot a missile at it. Shoot at the circle thing under it. Repeat this process until it only starts to shoot two lasers. You must then use the Charge Beam. Shoot at the same spot as you did with the missiles. Kept repeating this process. When it starts to explode, avoid the lasers. When its face falls off, jump onto the ladder on the wall and shoot missiles at it. When it reaches the wall, it will fly around. This is hard to avoid, but try to do so. Repeat this process until it turns into the ball. You should then know how to kill it. You will get the Gravity Suit ability. Note: You should have at least six energy bars.
Hint: Defeating Omega Metroid:
This trick is easy to do and with some luck, you will not get hit at all in the entire battle. When the Sa-X sacrifices itself, get the Ice Beam. Then, when you start shooting the Boss in the chest, rapidly press B to keep hitting it. The Omega Metroid should cry in pain several times and will not be able to hit you.
Information in this section was contributed by Ivan.
In the battle with the Omega Metroid, when it swipes you, Samus will become motionless for a few seconds. However, if you rapidly press Up, you will cut this time down dramatically.
Information in this section was contributed by Timothy Myers.
Hint: Defeating Ridley:
When you walk into the arena, charge up your beam and shoot it at Ridley. Do this about seven to ten times. Ridley should get red quickly.
Information in this section was contributed by sglueck.
When his eyes start to glow, charge up your Wave Beam. When he breaks free, shoot him. When he tries to grab you, you should try ducking. However, if he gets you, keep shooting missiles at him rapidly and he will release you, crying out in pain. When he is in the air, keep shooting him with your charged beam and he should die quickly.
Information in this section was contributed by Mrmachinegunx2.
Lay down a nonstop barrage of missiles. Ridley will screech and jerk away from you every few missiles and rarely gets a chance to get close. If he does and grabs you, let him have as many super missiles as you can spare. You will be at point blank range and be aiming down his throat and cannot miss. After a few super missiles, he simply drops you and you can resume the barrage.
Information in this section was contributed by Chris.
Once in the room, start charging. Once he moves, shoot the charged beam. Keep shooting him (not his tail, because it is invincible) with charged beam shots. Only use missiles if he picks you up. Once he reveals his X form, start pumping him with missiles. Your effort will be rewarded with the Screw attack. This should be easy with at least ten energy tanks and about 25 missiles.
Information in this section was contributed by 3.141592653589 Pi Guy.
Hint: Escaping SA-X the first time:
The first time you see the SA-X, you will be in a room with a morph ball hole. Go into it. As soon as you do this, the SA-X will appear in the door. Go as far left as possible, as it will be setting off a super bomb. The next time you see it, you will be in a long room with a wall at the end. First, jump over the wall on the left. The SA-X will come through the door. Stay on that side of the wall. When the light around it goes off your screen, it will not go back through the door. Go into morph ball mode and set a super bomb, then stay in that mode. After it goes off, the SA-X will come running and shooting. It takes away 90 damage every time it hits you. Jump in to the top hole in the wall to your left and go through. Its shots will go through the wall; keep running and jump over its shots when they appear and go through the door.
Information in this section was contributed by Jack Stokes.
Hint: Escaping SA-X the second time:
After you defeat the spider robot, go over to the left side of the room. Use your new space double jump to get up to the first ledge you find. Shoot the blocks and open the morph ball slot. Jump in and roll through the hole which brings you to Sector 2. Go through the hole further and you will be in a room with a big plant across from you. The block at the bottom will disappear. Go through it and the SA-X will be waiting for you. Freeze it with your Ice Missiles, then run past it through the door. It will come after you as the Ice Missiles are not permanent. In the next room, quickly turn into a morph ball, lay a Super Bomb, and turn into normal mode. As soon as it comes through the door, freeze it again. As soon as the morph ball bomb goes off, the wall on the left will explode. Run through it and into the door. The next room will have switched doors. Shoot the switches and go through the door on the top left. Run across the next room and into the door. Jump over the wall in the room and stay there. The SA-X will come through the door, look at the wall, and leave.
Information in this section was contributed by Jack Stokes.
Hint: Defeating SA-X:
When you first get into the room where you fight SA-X, charge your Power Beam and go up to the door. Stay with ground combat. Since it is charged, keep it like that and wait until he is normal (and not a green ball and invulnerable). Take the first shot, then hold it down to charge again. He should jump into the air and land next to you. This is your chance to shoot. Do the same thing repeatedly until he gets fuzzy. When you hit him he will turn into a giant monster. The only way he can hurt you is to jump on you. Charge up your beam and hit him in the face four times. His eyes will go red. Walk next to him and he will die. On the spikeball, charge up your missiles, When his eye opens up, shoot then jump over him immediately. If you run low on health, use your Screw Attack and hit him. A group of Xs will appear. Collect as many as needed. You can do this repeatedly.
Information in this section was contributed by mike w..
When SA-X enters, freeze him with an ice missile and charge up your beam. Continue this to defeat Sa-X in about two minutes.
Information in this section was contributed by TIMOTHY MOORE.
Charge up your beam and spin jump to get him to follow you. While in the air, jump to reach the bottom. When he jumps, shoot your beam at him. Then do it all again until he transforms. Next, stand on the middle platforms and shoot him with a charged beam, then jump to the other side and do it again. When he changes again, treat it like the wide core-X. This requires practice.
Information in this section was contributed by Bulls23CJY.
When SA-X appears, charge up your beam and jump to the bottom floor. He will soon follow. Then, quickly jump up to the top right platform. If done correctly, he will jump on the platform. Immediately jump to the bottom floor and shoot at him when he comes down. Repeat this process several times until he turns into his monster form. The only way he can attack you is by jumping on you. You must charge up your beam and shoot him four times, including dodging his jumps. He will then turn into a large Core-X. Charge up your missiles to full then shoot his eye when it opens. When he takes damage, jump over him before he shoots you. Repeat this process a few times. If you run low on health, jump into him with your Screw Attack and he should release some.
Information in this section was contributed by pinballmaniac.
Go into the room and make him appear. Then, just fall down onto the little ledge above the first door. When he tires to jump up by you, keep blasting him with your charged weapon. Then on the X, just use your charged Ice Missiles to kill it when its eye opens.
Information in this section was contributed by lduncan666.
After you have defeated the SA-X, he turns into the monster thing. Instead of staying on the ground to fight him, go back to the top left door to the operations deck. Then, just charge your beam, jump up, and shoot it straight down at him. If you stay up there, it is impossible for him to hurt you. When you see him stop jumping, you must go back to the floor to kill the wide core-x/spiky thing.
Information in this section was contributed by SWGalli.
To defeat the SA-X, you only have to get into a safe and predictable pattern. First, stay on the bottom floor. Second, do a high Screw Attack over him while charging your beam. He will do a double jump and land. Immediately after that, he will be open for an attack. Fire, then the SA-X will turn into a monster. Charge your beam, shoot, and the SA-X will jump. Quickly move from where you are. Repeat and he will be defeated easily.
Information in this section was contributed by Ramona Jocks.
This trick can be used after you obtain the Screw Attack from Ridley. If you have it already and are at the point that you have to set course for SR388 (the planet that will destroy B.S.L.), you will face the SA-X. At this point you will defeat him. After defeating SA-X with a few shot of Charge Beam, it will mutate into something like a large X monster. However at that point it will just jump around and smash you. Either skip places before he stumbles on you or use Screw Attack while he is jumping. After defeating it with two or three Charge Beam shots, it will expose the X-Core, and it can only be damaged when its eye is open. If you are running out of HP or missiles, the X-Core will follow you, dealing almost 120 HP or 65 HP in Samus' energy and will end the game instantly. If it follows you with its eye shut, just Screw Attack it. It will release Energy and Missile (yellow and green parasites). Space or Screw jump over them repeatedly until you fill your HP and missiles. Make sure you do not climb on to any platform. If that is done, Samus will climb up them and become vulnerable. Screw Attacking the Core releases five or six of them randomly. Make sure you fill your health before attacking it.
Information in this section was contributed by charles Dela Cruz.
Hint: Defeating the Security Robot:
For the first encounter in Sector 3 (PYR), stay on the rungs on the ceiling. When the robot launches a grenade out of the core, make sure you avoid it. When it detonates, shooting fire towers in both directions, move to the other side of it when it lowers. Then, shoot at the core using missiles. Charged shots also work. Eventually, the robot will flash, then launch itself out of the area.
Information in this section was contributed by Sharkwizard.
For the second encounter in Sector 6 (NOC), stay out of the water. Detonate a Power Bomb to reveal rungs in the ceiling. Go up to the rungs and go to the far left until you cannot go any farther. Face right and follow this pattern: When the robot launches missiles, shoot your Plasma Beam at them before they can hit you. Then, the robot will start running towards you, and will probably hit a step and get stunned. This is your chance to fire missiles at it (hold L to fire diagonally downward). Eventually, the robot will turn into a Wave Core-X. When it shows its eye, fire a missile at it, then jump to avoid the wave beam it shoots as a reaction. After a few missiles it will eventually turn into a Core-X, giving you the ability to use the Wave Beam.
Information in this section was contributed by Sharkwizard.
Just before you jump on the platform directly in front of the operations deck, charge your beam. When everything starts rumbling, jump down to the ground and the Sa-X should follow you. That should give you a first easy shot. Do not jump up to the platforms. If you do, you will have no idea which way the Sa-X will come from, if he will shoot from down below, and it is difficult to shoot him from there. Try jumping over the Sa-X when he runs towards you, or run under him if he space-jumps. While doing that, charge up your beam, and as soon as possible, fire it at him. If this is done fast enough, it should have no time to fire an ice beam at you. After about ten to fifteen charged beam shots, the Sa-X will kneel down and turn into a big red monster. Do not be tempted to jump on the platforms. This monster can only jump where you were. If you stay on ground level and constantly charge up your beam you can destroy him. Always run to where he was when he jumped after he jumps. This will ensure your safety. If it stops attacking you just get close to it. It should turn into the Core-X. The Core-X is simple to defeat; just do not go on to the platforms! Continuously jump over it and shoot a lot of missiles at its eye.
Information in this section was contributed by Spencer Liberto.
When fighting the SA-X, you can damage her with the Screw Attack, although this is not recommended. Also, beware of using patterns in your attack (for example, . jump, charge in air, fire, jump, charge in air, fire, etc.). It will learn the pattern and calculate a weak point. Keep moving. Also, when it is in stage two, you barely need to move. While it is still transforming, stand a few steps away, charge your beam, and shoot the head. When it jumps, walk towards its original position by two or three steps. In its Core X form, use the Screw Attack to knock lots of X out of it, in case you are low on missiles or health. Do not bother trying to totally restock your health, because when you fight the Omega Metroid, it will always bring your health down to zero. Do not waste time at a recharge room either.
Information in this section was contributed by Sabrewulf.
Hint: Defeating Security Robot B.O.X.:
When you fact it for the first time you will end up in the room with the unreachable height on the left side. The left wall will be destroyed and the robot will come out. Run over to the right side of the room, because it will chase you over. Next, jump on the ceiling ladder and fire missiles at its center. It will now do one of two things; either rampage around the bottom of the screen and hit the walls (save your missiles, as it is difficult to hit in this state), or crouch down. If it crouches, move as far away from it to the side you are closer to and it will fire flame grenades out of its top. They will explode, send out flame waves and move from left to right. When this happens, try to find a gap in between the flames. One hit from anything on the ceiling will make you fall down. Continue firing missiles at it or your charge beam. It will get very decomposed, stop moving, then jump in the hole in the ceiling.
Information in this section was contributed by Jack.
Hint: Defeating Sirrus:
When fighting Sirrus when it is zooming around the room, attach yourself to those things you can climb on to the ceiling.
Information in this section was contributed by Pikachu946500057.
When fighting Sirrus, stay on the middle block on the floor (the one that started the battle) until he comes at you. When he does that, jump up and grab the ladder on the ceiling.
Information in this section was contributed by Wes Shaw.
Be very careful. It can appear from anywhere. When you have a clear shot, hit it with a missile in the head. Do not worry if you miss; as most of this is luck. If you hit it in the head, it will pause momentarily. Get out of the way. It will go around very quickly. You can only hit him once he calms down. Repeat this until he is defeated.
Information in this section was contributed by David L. Howells.
When you enter Sirrus' lair, climb up the ladder in front of you. Run and jump across the platform until you reach the other side. Watch out for Sirrus when you do this. When you get to the far side (the side that you exit later), jump onto the ladder and climb to the very top. From here, Sirrus cannot hit you unless he does a high jump. To hit him, fire missiles at his head when he is not flashing. Alternately, you can use the Charge Beam to hit him. You can also do this if you run out of missiles. The easiest way to defeat the X at the end is to dive underwater and hit it with missiles there.
Information in this section was contributed by aquaranger04.
First, go onto the platform and run around on there until you hear an earthquake. Then, quickly go onto the ladder on the right and you can fire either five missiles into Sirrus' head or charge up your beam and fire four times. When he cries out in pain, get your missiles ready. Then, just shoot the Core X until the thick membrane is destroyed.
Information in this section was contributed by Matt Bird.
Go onto the ladder at the right side of the room. He can only hit with one attack. When you see him coming up from the bottom, fire a missile at his head and repeat. You should have lots of health remaining to fight the Core-X. To defeat the Core-X, just jump around and fire missiles at it.
Information in this section was contributed by Aaron Ruscitti.
Hint: Defeating Tube Parasite:
You cannot hurt it at the moment, so prepare. Charge your beam up. The Boss will jump around. Hold the charge. Wait for the jump where a disk will appear below it. Run under it and shoot the charged beam at the disk. Then immediately afterwards, fire a missile after it. Next, run to the side with the most room. if the disk touches you, you will be sucked inside and damaged. When the head is left with the feet, the first jump will bring out the disk.
Information in this section was contributed by David L. Howells.
Hint: Collecting "cold" X easier:
After getting the Vira suit, the cold (large blue) X will try to evade you and leave. Shoot to stun them and easily collect them.
Information in this section was contributed by Shotgunner.
Hint: Collecting all X easier:
Once you have the Power Bomb, go to a room where there are a lot of X Creatures/Parasites. Press Down(2) to morph into your ball form, then lay a Power Bomb. Do not move away from the bomb. When it explodes, not only will it destroy all onscreen enemies (unless the enemy is very powerful) and stun all the X parasites that appear, but the vacuum will pull all onscreen X parasites back to you. This can be done as many times as needed, depending on the amount of Power Bombs you have.
Information in this section was contributed by aquaranger04.
Hint: Increase health:
When you have to do the last objective with the wind machines, gather X Parities to get a lot of life.
Information in this section was contributed by BaronMch.
Hint: Invincibility:
Charge up Charge Beam (if available), and do a Spin Jump.
Information in this section was contributed by HenryLe2003.
Hint: Hidden Energy Tank:
When you are in the first Boss's room (that says "target" and makes the beeping sound on your map), ledge jump until you collect your first Energy Tank. Proceed until you reach a hole, but do not drop down. Instead, stand at the left platform one unit before the hole. Fire a missile into the ceiling. If you shot the correct location, a hole will appear. Shoot a beam into the hole in the ceiling and jump up. Go to your right. Drop down to receive an Energy Tank. Wall jump out and drop into the hole you passed earlier to fight the first Boss.
Information in this section was contributed by Allusbrats.
Hint: Skipping levels:
After you go through the restricted section, go to the navigation room just beside the elevator. When you talk to it, it will instruct you to go to another place. If you want to skip a couple levels, talk to it again. It will instruct you to go to the Operation room to set a collision course with a planet. You will now be able to go there.
Information in this section was contributed by ayrmount.
Hint: Glow:
Go to the main deck and stand on top of Sector 6 elevator. Then, run until you are going turbo. About five seconds after doing this, press Down(2) and Samus will keep glowing for a few seconds.
Information in this section was contributed by gmorrison5.
Hint: Gamecube:
Near the start of the game when the X are tying to make the environment to their own conditions and block the fans, go to one blocking the fans (the ones that you have to kill with missiles and give off X Parasites). It will be floating around. Look at the top left of it, in the very corner of the X. You will see a Gamecube.
Information in this section was contributed by CJ McIntosh.
Complete Sector 3 the first time. Once up on the elevator, an intermission will start, and the Navigation screen will read "Incoming Dispatch" with a GameCube at the bottom of it.
Information in this section was contributed by XMoman34.
Hint: Hidden message:
There is a secret message in the Navigation Room Sector 4 (AQA). First, unlock the Level 4 Locks, but do not download the Diffusion Missile upgrade. Then, do a chain of Shinesparks (while Speed Boosting, hold Down and press A, or A + D-pad) in a certain area.
Information in this section was contributed by Sharkwizard.

Glitch: Power freeze:
Note: This can be done once. When you reach Ridley, you can slow down time momentarily while fighting him. When you enter his room and Ridley's eyes glow, plant a Power Bomb. Then, quickly leave ball mode and begin charging a Diffusion Missile. Shoot it exactly at the same time the Power Bomb detonates at Ridley (for the best and longest effect). Ridley should have done its battle cry and it will sound slower than normal. Your movement will slow down as well. This effect will remain as long as the two explosions are still on screen. This can done even while Ridley is in flight.
Information in this section was contributed by GameMaven5.
Glitch: Stuck in wall:
In the battle against Ridley, you can get stuck in the wall. To do this, get grabbed by Ridley but only make him let go when your flashing body is in the wall (the left one). You will now be stuck and can hit him without taking damage. Once he is gone, you can walk out. This may take several attempts. Note: You cannot stay in the wall while fitting the Core-X as it will knock you out of the wall if you cannot walk out. Also, your missiles will hit the wall and stop, but if he is close they will still hit Ridley; however your charge beam will go through the wall.
Information in this section was contributed by powlienguin.
Glitch: Transparent X:
Go to Sector 1 and kill the dog-like creature. Get the X (health)and nothing will happen for a while. Later on, you will get health.
Information in this section was contributed by Mega metroid.
Glitch: Change music:
When you fight B.O.X the second time, shoot him as many times as possible. Then when he is in the Core X form, absorb it immediately (when the music is still playing.) The music will remain after you absorb it unless you get to the restricted area. It will stop in a few minutes then turn silent. This will not work when you are loading a game.
