  • Goddess Walls
When you play your harp around a group of butterflies in specific areas of the game, a Goddess Wall sometimes appears nearby. Hold your sword up to the light, then draw various symbols on the wall in order to obtain the related item. For a group of recovery hearts, draw a heart. For a bunch of rupees, draw a rupee. Drawing an arrow grants you arrows. Painting a circle gives you bombs. And if you can manage to draw the Triforce, you'll get some fairies.
  • Healing chairs
Occasionally in dungeons you can find small stools or chairs. Sitting on them and waiting a few seconds will start to refill all of your hearts. You can do this anytime and as often as you want.
  • Hero mode
Successfully complete the game. Hero mode is activated when you start a new game session; which will overwrite your saved game. In this mode, hearts last half as long, hearts and heart flowers will not appear unless you are carrying a Heart Medal, you will start with a fully powered up Skyward Strike attack, the Sheikah Stone will let you access all the hints, and you will have your previously collected insects and treasures. Additionally, Boss Rush mode will include the final Boss.
  • Hylian Shield
Defeat eight Bosses consecutively in the Boss Challenge at Lanayru Gorge in Hero mode.
