Respawn’s update on Apex Legends’ anti-cheat measures discloses that over 770,000 cheaters have been banned.

In a dev update this weekend, Respawn community manager Jay Freshette has said that over 770k players have been banned so far, over 300k account creations have been blocked, and 4,000 spammers have also been banned. Thanks to these efforts, the number of matches on PC affected by cheaters and spammers has dropped by over 50% over the last month.

“We take cheating in Apex incredibly serious and have a large amount of resources tackling it from a variety of angles. It is a constant war with the cheat makers that we will continue to fight,” he said.

A couple of weeks after Apex Legends launched back in February, Respawn revealed that it had banned 16,000 cheaters out of the 25 million players and 2 million concurrents the game was drawing in within the first two weeks after release.

Another ban wave was unleashed at the beginning of April, with the number rising to over 355k on PC.

PSA: we do not support cheating for online/mobile/multiplayer games, which may include trainers,
mod menu's, Exploits, Hacks, Tools & Macros, Bots and so on. (we do allow the posting of such for offline/single player games hoewever, online and multiplayer games is where we draw the line. Phone apps/games for example typically offer a storefront to purchase ingame currency for example; whether it's singleplayer or not, in such games, the aforementioned is not allowed.)
