Pause the game by pushing Start, then press Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A. Then press Start to resume play with all the options. Note: This code will only work once per stage.

After your last ship is destroyed and the Game Over music is playing, press Down, Up, B, A, B, A, B, A, B and A. If you do the code correctly, you'll continue from where you left off.

Collect five powerup capsules so that the question mark is highlighted, then collect a sixth when your thousands digit is a zero for rapid fire.
