Personally, I've never owned a Japanese DC game. I can tell you that I think the US cases suck really really bad. It's very hard to find/keep them in good shape, as it is very easy to tear a instruction book on the stupid tiny plastic things that hold it in. Euro cases look BA on the other hand...
